I've held off too. Mainly because there's no reasonable prospect of having time to fly, but I've got to say that the screenies are leaving me drooling and very tempted to throw money at 777/1C.

May I ask another thing? Are the bullet impact holes static like in DCS/ROF or a là Cliffs of Dover they appear where bullets strike? They are static.

I just want to specify, that mine was a question driven by the sheer curiosity. To me it's a feature, and not a deal-breaker condition. I can see why there are pro and cons in both methods, but it's a hair splitting thing. Regardless, as Cold_Gambler said it's absolutely stunning and it gets progressively harder to resist... I'm really wanting to buy into it- but having played Rise of Flight not barely enough, I really feel bad buying into another one.
