With a bit more lighting added

Is the music to full porn ? Decided to lash out on Sony Vegas and have been mucking around the last couple of hours learning some basics. WMM has run it's course for what i wanted to do. I spliced and overlayed two pieces of the same track so the guitar cuts in where i wanted it and dropped in some plug in light effects for the beginning and end. I only wanted a five sec intro but the guys animation takes 10..so 10 it is.

Just wondering what you guys think, i need an original type intro for my vids, not the el standard one i was using.

Any tips would be appreciated as well smile

I don't like intros to videos personally. I'd rather just get right to it. At least yours is relatively short though.

I refuse to buy a flight sim that I have no interest in playing, on the off chance that MAYBE someday they'll make the one I really want to play.

If you only want 5 secs, personally I'd just cut the first half where the bloke is standing and begin with him lifting the rifle over his shoulder smile

This is Bobby Rahal, thanks for playing the trial version of Microsoft's CART Precision Racing

Yes. He's putting it over his shoulders, just to take it down again at the end. As it is, it looks as if he is indecisive and doesn't know what to do with his gun. If he puts the rifle from chest to shoulder, it signals relaxation. If the puts the rifle from shoulders to his chest, it's a signal for rising tension. Which probably is what you want to use.

I abhor DayZ, but I like it. If you need some addition features or composting additions, I've got some free time mate.

What i need is to be able to get rid of the menu screen underneath...

I tried dropping the original vid file in twice in vegas and masked the area where the menu is on one, which layers on top of the original while leaving the original untouched, tried a few different (within mask) options like blur, lighting etc to cover it but it still came out average. Surely i can do this without layering the vids ?

The other thing i didn't like was just the standard text, i wanted the 'Really crappy vids' bit to sort of fade in slowly and smoothly from the background over the five seconds (once i trim it) but in Vegas it comes in slightly jerky using the text (tracking and scaling) options.

Any tips would be excellent cheers
