Thought I'd post this info if anyone needs it.


I hooked up old x45 on my win 7 64 and ran through the calibration setup.

Everything checked ok, but when I loaded up ROF I found the throttle response was buggered. A little search showed an error in Win 7 64 which apparently wont be fixed.

I did find a program to reset the joystick settings and it seems to work. The version I had crashed when saving and I found a link to an earlier version

*** (update: I did use the earlier version and it did save the profile without crashing)

I also found a couple other software to reprogram joysticks and rudders which I haven't tested as I need to fix my rudder bar plus I'm in the middle of moving.

The links work but the important thing is to get that version 4.30.229
