does anyone know anything about the plug that connects the Cougar throttle to the joystick?
Are these just analogue signals that I can read using MMjoy to make a USB interface just for the throttle?

Cougar throttle are basically "brainless", so easy to rewire to another USB controller.

For DIY, are this TQS wiring diagram to pots, buttons... to internal 22 way plug:

Notice that throttle pot' is not wired in this (22) connector, only Antenna and Range pot's.

I think that you can't wire the TQS gameport (DB-15 female) to MMjoy gameport male (DB-15) if TQS board have additional IC chips, probable for handle key matrix... If dont have you can.

But you can wire the 22 pin connections and wires from throttle pot' for a new DB-15 (gameport) connector and plug MMJoy DB-15 connector in then.

I prefer handle this matter in "redneck" way, erase all these manufacture board and connectors, and rewire the pot's, button's, switch's and HAT's direct to the new USB controller that I fit internally making a standalone USB throttle.

BTW - The project Hempstick USB HID is for update Cougar in "PnP" way.

Yes, only analog signals, but pay attention that are +5V and GND lines for pot' between, dont mix then.
