Someone was mentioning last night about an addon that can help keep track of the squad, such as Roles, status, etc.

Can someone help me out?

No I think he is referencing Tao talking about his Order of Battle thingy ... allowing Tex to see who is leader of which squad.

Not to say the HUD isn't absolutely amazing and totally awesome!

ALiVE will keep track of all players as well as Blue Force Tracker. The only thing with ALiVE is you have to setup the server to run the mission through the database function that they have to track all the stats. It works seamlessly and the AI reacts to contact in a manner that you would expect of a player controlling the OPFOR. IF you set it up right you don't need Zeus or MCC to control what the bad guys do as the AI will send out QRF from local garrison's to react to a patrol that spotted you or one that you didn't quite kill fast enough.

That is a 20 kiloton solution for a hand grenade sized problem.

Tex, Tao apparently has a script that will do it. It's something that's executed at the mission level, so you don't need to download it as a mod.

I believe he was just asking for input on the way to do it. ALiVE does a tremendous job and IS NOT a huge mod to download but has massive upside.

I;m hoping to give Alive a shot on the SimHQ server when I get back from San Jose ... so maybe the weekend of the 13th or 20th of September if Adlabs will let me :-)

EDIT: With regard to the original post, I am thinking back to what TexTanker said on TeamSpeak during our last few missions. I love what Alive has done on the WarRoom though.
