The Golf Club has been released for PC, Xbox One, and PS4... it's a pretty good golf game like the link days, where all the courses are user made. A lot of great course and a lot of terrible ones, but you can play them, rate them, challenge friends, compare stats with friends, play against friends ghost, or play live with them. A good game that still is rough around the edges, IE: I question the green speeds and consistency with the green rolls.
If you like golf, real or computer then give it ago... on PC, it's via Steam, and your steam friends are already there.
Got a "SimHQ Invitational" set up, it's at a nicely done course called "Mable Bay Resort", if interested, you got 14 days to play (as many times as you want) for the best score.
I picked it up on Xbox One today. I decided to fore go EA's golf this year for this. Are the tourneys cross platform or are they specific to a platform?
I spent many, many hours out to sea playing TW a decade ago- soon as I have the time to spare, I'll definitely be interested in hopping in.

I have it. I enjoy it but putting is a sonofabeech. I have an Xbox controller to use with it. I'll have to add you Mag.
Looks great on the multi screen setup in the family room though.
The biggest issue, and one that I pretty loudly voiced to the developers was the need for a DX11 suppored video card to run the game. While nice to have it limits a lot of potential players that have machines that can run the game but video cards that don't. If the game had mixed DX10 and 11 support I think it would have a lot more sales but the developers disagreed with me.
Ahh, I was not aware it was DX11 only... ya, it's not perfect yet, putting is hard, but I'm learning, go to the website, they have video tutorials... I question the speed of the greens, seem way to fast, and the slope on the greens can sometimes seem inconsistent on reading... but a good game, none the less.
