I'm not to happy about this, just for 360 and PS3... not even coming to PC... I think I'd prefer this game over that one, Unity, coming to next gen and PC...

I suppose this is the reveal of the one codenamed "Comet"? I like the idea of being able to play as a Templar but not if Ubisofty puts their biased spin on it which from that trailer looks like the case. A disenchanted Templar becoming a turncoat. But in the AC world you can't have a good Templar. They are the illuminati devils while the assassin's are the trans humanist, Christian-hating, new age, myth-loving murderers who commune with ancient spirit predecessors.

To be honest the medieval Templars, historically, weren't nice people. The were religious fanatics.

But saying that I can play a game that has ideals or people in I don't agree with as it is just a game.

I agree, but its humorous that they make the assassin's the good guys in it all, that they somehow are some higher moral ground lol. I enjoy the games for the games they are, great production value and fun, interesting fictional history, conspiracies but it is biased and attacks certain groups more than others. I'd be curious to know how many ubi employees are muslims. On the same token, anyone in free masonry can stuff it too.

BTW, "Comet" aka AC:Rogue was always intended to be a last-gen console release, not current gen.

We all know that they would never have any evil Muslims as no one is allowed to offend them and they would have death threats. I see your point in that respect, in that its ok to say part of the Christian religion is evil but all others are ok.

Did you even play the original mace ? the main villain was a muslim assassin. All the assassins were a'habs, i didnt know then, but their base of operation was actually the base of real world assassins ( in the original and literal meaning ) from that era

The original pulled no punches against any set.

Anyway, back to the game - I saw and liked the AC Rogue previews. Basically an assassin who is now a templar. Interesting premise and definitely liked the northern bent to it.

Same here. I'm glad for the North Atlantic setting as one of the locations to play in. Certainly not the norm when it comes to game locations.

I'm also intrigued by the "river valley" area as it sounds to be navigable by ship and is said to contain in size, the whole of Black Flag's land masse put together.

I hope they made an attempt to push the PS3 with this game so that it'll look fresher than the previous games and not a copy and paste type scenario.
