Hey guys,
Wondering if anyone uses something other than SVmapper. I've stumbled upon a site that has a list of all sorts of different keyboard emulators, but they're all for xbox controllers and crap. and don't really do what i need (http://alternativeto.net/software/controlmk/)

The wonderful thing about SVmapper is it's ability to work with toggle switches. The "Mapped key on press" and "Mapped key on release" feature.
Do you guys know of any other software out there that has that same feature?

thanks guys

really? i watched a little tutorial on it and didn't think it was really set up for that.

There was a little section on that video where it talked about the "Toggle" feature, but it looked like that was for something that would hold down a SPRINT button by only having to click the button.

If it's not difficult, any way you could describe the set up?

padder does not have the feature mapped key on release. And that make it unsuitable for many things.

The other keymapper that allow mapped "key on press/release" is Hidmacros, allow scripts on C++ too.

http://www.hidmacros.eu/

The thing is, almost all these keymapers are done for use gamepad (XBox like) on Windows, so are simple.
Hidmacros is done for use two or more keyboard on FSX.

The most powerfull seens the (payware) Pinacle Game Profile.

Do more with buttons and controls using our patented double-commands, cycles, toggles, multiple shift states, and unlimited macro capabilities.
Get more out of analog controls by inverting axes, adjusting sensitivity on-the-fly, and using Pinnacle's analog-to-digital conversion capabilities (e.g., walk or run depending on how far you tilt a joystick).

I like SVmapper - done for the old (2004)project DIY joystick controller Mjoy - but lack some features and is limited to four controllers. His "Repeat" feature do crazy things on Il-2.

You can do it too with AutoHotkey, but is not easy to use, and use more computer resources.

LeOne, are you sure it's 3? the two leobodnars in the control panel will carry the same name, and appear as 1 USB connection, but with a TON of buttons. (btw, still looking for alternatives, but will make a "how to" video in a little bit)

Anyhow I will try to remember how i did it. I had a lot of trouble with game profiler as soon as i start it the mouse start to get crazy (but i think is not due to the software but to some mistake i madein the configuration)

Hi mate I am LuseKofte in another forum and bought your fine Panels. Yes I got only 3 devices, and I think it is because my Youke got a lot of buttons and only two LeoBodnar cards shows after it.
And those 3 devices seems to take so much space , so aI lack room for my third LeoBodnar

What's up buddy!
Yep, i knew it was you. Saw your post in "Show off your Pit" post smile

You should be able to use your 3rd Leo Bodnar no problem. Just make sure that when you start up SVMapper, that all your USB game controllers are unplugged EXCEPT for the bomber control panel. That way SVMapper will only see the bomber panel, and make them #1 and #2 in SVMapper. After that, you can plug the rest of your devices in. That way you can still use all your other devices
And i'm also guessing that you only need SVMapper for the bomber control panel, correct? Because SVMapper is only used for those 2 way toggle switches.

I'm gonna look into this Pinnacle Game Profile thing Sokol's mentioned. That might be the answer for being able to have more than 4 customizable USB devices
