Beach, would you be terribly offended if I turned up at your doorstep with a handkerchief soaked in chloroform? That happens once a week anyway. I can't decide if it's aliens or perverts. Sigh. BeachAV8R

True fact: MiG-21 pilots were given an AK-47 and expected to fly alongside enemy fighters, open the canopy, and blast the enemy cockpit at a range of about 50 yds.

Nice with an english pit! Might there by any chance be a Finnish air force livery in the release? I just found two different ones in the latest dcs world but with a swede doing the graphics how could there not be a Finnish version.
-C- Sure! Even posted one earlier today. http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=102841&d=1408106053

Is it just me or did only the choir get the module early. Biting my tongue so hard right now I'm bleeding.

Is it just me or did only the choir get the module early. It's just you. Now let's get back on topic.

Preview copies were released to specific people, much like what happens with a lot of other games. Is it just me or did only the choir get the module early.

Although Beach may be a fine singer, I suspect he got his copy due to his lengthy history of published (in print) aviation simulation articles instead.

All I can do is sit back an wait... I enjoyed trying out the A-10C and Ka-50. I have flown the P-51D and UH-1H extensively. I have flown the Mi-8 almost as much as the UH-1H. I have plenty of time in the F-15C, MiG-29S, and Su-27. The F-86F and Fw190D9 currently have my full attention. But the only reason I bought any of the DCS modules was to bide my time until the MiG-21bis is released.

Although Beach may be a fine singer, I suspect he got his copy due to his lengthy history of published (in print) aviation simulation articles instead. I'd like to think that. We feature (and I write about) all kinds of stuff in the magazine. FSX add-ons, X-Plane add-ons, DCS, Strike Fighters, utilities, hardware, etc.. The reason I'm happy I got a preview copy is that I get to explore it in depth and it helps me make a print deadline that is very unforgiving. If I don't get it in in time, I have to go 2 months (the span between our issues) before I can have it in the pages, and by then it really won't be new news. We write several types of articles - Q&As, previews, and reviews. The previews are generally not critical because the software is in beta and it isn't fair to swipe at unfinished stuff. Once it goes final and we do the review though, all is fair in love and war. I routinely ding products for poor documentation or things that don't work right. As for what I share here - that is just a side benefit of me being a longtime SimHQ member and seriously enthusiastic flight sim fan. I'm genuinely into flight sims because they led me to my real career in aviation by planting the seed 30 some years ago.. If I didn't think the MiG-21 was pretty good, I'd say so (just ask the Take On Helicopter guys..I gave them a good bit of grief a couple years back..) BeachAV8R

Not to worry; this is standard Mustang/Acer1961. I really hope you'll direct all of your constant negativity into destroying targets in the sim Joe.
