Had a little time in the "Brick" today on the Kuban Map. Hate to say it but Loft leaving and Jason stepping in and the Team Stepping up have been the best thing to happen to the BOX series yet. They have now delivered just about everything that the original BOS should have been. Now if they can pull off a good Career Mode, refine the AI even more(what they have done recently is good) and somehow make the ME easier to use, the BOX Series will take off like wild fire. My Hats off to the EXCELLENT job they are doing. Here are a few pics from this evenings session, and yes, I did nail the landing, but I J-turned at the end. Will have to work on that tomorrow, as I am off and plan to check out more of Kuban and the new FMs.
Here are some pics from the 1st mission in the "Sirens of Death" Campaign created by Netscape. It is a scripted Campaign for the Stuka available on the BOS Forums. I have only flown the first 2 missions, but I have thoroughly enjoyed them. The Campaign does not come with Historically correct German skins, but you can use the ME to open each mission and apply whatever skins you have as you desire. I have applied skins with the Hakenkreuz symbols. Hope you enjoy and here is a Link to the post with the Campaign download. Sirens of Death
Thanks Gents. Netscape has done a very good job putting this Campaign together. I haven't always been a very ardent fan of the BOX series, but the leadership change and the Team stepping up and embracing the new direction set for them is really turning BOX around. As far as SP goes, with some more hard work on the AI and a Fun Career Mode introduced, IMHO, BOX could actually finally live up to the IL2 heritage. If they could just make a somewhat simplified ME interface this series would really take off and enjoy an even wider audience. Here are a couple of pics from Mission 2 in the "Sirens of Death" Campaign.

P.S. Check out the dirt and scratches on the Canopy glass of the 109. Awesome detail!!! Click on the small pic at the bottom to get a bigger view. Again awesome detail!!!
You may eventually catch some flak at the BoS forums over the hakenkreuz pics though. IIRC those images are supposed to be hidden behind spoiler tags.
Wheels
Thank you Wheels. You know, I didn't know that you weren't supposed to post pictures over there of the HK. To me it is just History, there is no disrespectful intention, but I acknowledge that those markings were used in that War and they should not be forgotten or censored IMHO. To me forgetting the corruption of the peoples minds, the tragedy and the totality of WWII is a very dangerous thing, lest History repeat itself. I do not want to glorify the HK, nor do I even like it much, but it is the True History of WWII. I do not like History to be rewritten or censored to protect me from the Truth. I have often wondered why the Japanese meatball (is there a more correct term for it?) has never been censored? The War that the Japanese caused was on par with that of Germany, maybe not in sheer numbers, but in horrific tragedy. My 2 cents worth, anyway, I am glad you enjoy the pictures.
Very nice, I like the spot camo. Is there a version with the two flak cannon for AT role? I read the book by the German pilot, the one that got the Iron Cross with oak leaves and diamonds etc - really good book.

Yes there is, but the bad part is that each cannon carries only like 12 or 16 shells. It is best to make a recon run and then try an attack run from the rear of the tank for the most successful opportunity.
