This looks awesome! We could always use some more Westerns or at least that's what I think.

Turn-based gunslinger combat. I've never really cared for turn based however I do like XCOM and that's what the combat in this is being compared to. I do love the Western theme and I like their idea of also exploring themes of hell and ghosts and curses and that people and their vices and the environment destroy each other.

Curious how in the video they say they are "sick and tired of all those quasi-realistic wild west themed games and movies". How many Western games are there?

Looking forward to this. I thought Call of Juarez Gunslinger was excellent.

Oh, too bad. I almost grabbed my wallet in excitement but then read about this nightmares and myth & legends stuff. Not my cup of tea. Reading the whole description for a second time it doesn’t sound very specific either to me. More like a bunch of ideas only.

I’ll save my money and stick to Desperados for Western themed strategy gameplay. I may have a look at this game again at its release.

Yep, lost me at that point as well.

So did I. Got it on a lark during a Steam sale, was quite pleasantly surprised. The story was quite good, as were the misdirects "Apaches? Did I say Apaches? I meant bandits" and everything resets!
I didn't use that bullet focus mode or whatever it was too much, played it straight mostly.

I'd love a free roaming western game. Walk into a town and have a gunfight with the local tough guy. Ride out to a fort and offer your services as a guide. Or join up with the Indians! Maybe help the Sheriff hunt down some guys who knocked over a stagecoach, or knock one over yourself. Would be a blast, I think.

Pooch, get Red Dead Redemption! Best Western game I've ever played. Hope they make a second.
