Recently reinstalled Shogun 2 + Darthmod. It's great fun and very atmospheric but the battles are a little too fast and decisive for my tastes.

First few shots are vanilla, testing out settings. The rest are with Darthmod and unit variety mod.

Massive charge

That's gotta hurt!

An American colonel serving in the Royal Marines, fighting in Japan? Why the heck not!

Ugh. Samurai are just so boring...

I'll trade my sword for a gun

Is it just me or does the matchlock seem a bit small?

Lethal ladies

Those are some serious, if impractical swords

When I said make them eat cold steel, I did not mean literally!

Nice!

Some very atmospheric screenies.

Thanks,

Shogun II really has some excellent lighting, from warm summer days to freezing winters. Really helps to draw you into the setting.
