Fun plane. Love the maritime stuff with pontoons. Like others have said she handles very well. Rear viewing is limited but forward visibility is surprisingly good. And I suppose if anyone could sink an aircraft with pontoon it'd be me. I did not flip so I wonder if my pontoons were punctured by enemy fire or if my loss of fuel somehow made me nose heavy. I landed with the engine shut off and came to a complete stop and just bobbed up and down. About a minute later I started sinking.

As a side, I've just discovered my blip switch on the Fokker E111. I've always wondered why I had no throttle control. Found a nice little flight manual on ROF useful materials page and discovered this lovely little switch that decreases engine rpm and speed by stopping the firing of the engines. However I read that fuel still flows to the cylinders and therefore it does not control this in anyway and as a result fires could ensue. Has anyone actually caught fire from not controlling this properly?

I think there is no fire risk modeled, but I am also not sure how great of a risk that was, as the today flying replicas with rotary engines (same principle) also make good use of the blip switch with no apparent problem..
