Going home (to my parents...) for a short vacation.
The trip by car is going to take from 5 to 10 hours- depending how well the kids will behave...

Its funny, its nearly 10 years I dont walk the streets I grew in.
Im feeling fuzzy.

I honestly cant wait to meet some of the bullies from school... grrr

I can guarantee that 20 years later I wouldn't run into ANY of the people I knew in school if I went back to Miami, let alone the people I disliked. smile

I think by 15 years ago most were already gone, and even those that weren't...well you just don't run into people in Miami all that often, it's a little too big for that.

Hurray!

He promised to make me a skin of my (real) Nieuport 11 for RoF by way of thanks for the meaningless gesture of giving him a game code I had no use for. So I guess that's still on.

I'd like to thank everyone (except Brennus neaner ) for the messages.

...

Words fail me tonight. I'll try to come up with something better tomorrow.
There's reasons I didn't see that garbage before.

I'm awfully sorry you had to grieve for me.
But thanks.

I'm very upset and my stomach is still turning. I love my family very very much and to think this could have reached them and gave'em even a worry it's enraging.

But for tonight I got enough of everything.
Till tomorrow.

Ta.

I'm glad to hear the rumor of your demise was greatly exaggerated, I would have missed your dry, subtle sense of humor. smile

Any idea how, who, why? Was the IP address registered when the post was made?

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Shall we set up a code word to verify that things are legit? That way, if a proper family member comes in to share the bad news, we will know it is true if the code word is there. biggrin

In all seriousness though, when I first read the messed up post, I remembered PositiveG/Kevin and how even the loss of an "internet friend" can be very sad.... feeling helpless, feeling sad, feeling like you want to reach out and comfort the ones left behind.... I'm glad you're back, Kome and everyone in SimHQ, stay safe!

Now I wonder if that "other internet site" is a naughty one and that's why the password was compromised...

Glad to learn, even at this late hour that all is well, Komemiute. I have not been online much this past week and had no idea what terrible news was floating about.
I had some weird guy call most of my lawn service customers several years ago, telling them that he had bought my business, or I had been injured, or killed and that he would be taking my place. It was very strange, as I showed up to mow and my wife got a bunch of sympathy calls. Never did figure out what he was up to, it was not really thought through very well.
Stay cool!

I guess there are quite some sick people around...

At least this can make some good stories to tell, should we ever have a real life SimHQ meeting...
Which I thoroughly hope.

I count on taking my kids to Orlando - Disney World in a couple of years-
It would be an honor to meet whoever feels like spending some time with us!
