Any one got a link to or advice on departing a space station ? At the moment I am just sitting there pressing all the buttons trying to get the comms up.I am using the preset warthog controls and a Trackir.

You might need to adjust the yaw settings on your TrackIR and use Precision Mode to keep the UI panels open. The launch request is on the station comms panel straight ahead, select launch request and use you upward thrust to leave the pad. When you are in line with the axis throttle up and be aware of other traffic.

When docking - be aware that you have to face forward in docking ui (face the docking building) for the docking locks to take affect. I spent a good 3 minutes flicking buttons and wondering why I wasn't getting the station menu before I realized this.

Also, don't forget to raise gear on launch - otherwise you will suffer "drag" in space.
