The USS Ronald Regan carrier battle group carrying several squadrons of military aircraft has entered the Black Sea off the shores of the Ukraine in response to NATO directives to quell unrest in the region. Tensions between pro-Russian separatists, the Ukrainian government, and Moscow threaten to explode into all-out civil war. US and NATO ally forces are tasked with suppressing aggressive military action from either side and protecting the civilian populace. VFA-41 pilots, battle-tested in the recent Syrian conflict, will surely be called upon again in the operation code-named Trident Breach.
