As a Beta tester you get it at a lower price, plus you'll get the full model when finished.

...if only I had time for it...

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

I had the free version with the Cessna flight model. Deleted it.

I'll wait for the final version.

Not at this time. Although they claim it's being worked on for future updates.

I'm a fan of Milviz and like their stuff, I'll be getting the F-4E when it's properly released.

I pre-purchased their King Air 350i quite a few months back now with the promise of access to the beta. Just today they've released a partially functional alpha to pre-purchasers and saying the PL21 avionics are taking longer then anticipated to develop. That's maybe fair enough but I'm not going to plonk another pile of money down on another pre-purchase from them that could end up taking many months to complete.

I have a feeling they just might have too many projects on the go at the moment.

I think you are correct. I also think they were out of money, hence the beta release to raise some funds.

MilViz dropped a bollock yesterday when they accidentally emailed all their customers with the links to unprotected installers of the latest FSX and P3D2 versions of the C310 and Baron.

They're definitely one of the better quality FS developers and I don't regret any of my MilViz purchases (Colin's abrasiveness and lack of customer relations acumen aside), but I'm not a fan of the widespread adoption of this "pay now for a beta and we'll finish it later" business model.

I kind of expect it from the likes of BBS and Iris, but it's not the road a respected developer like MilViz should be going down.

Yeah I thought those links looked like a booboo.

I have most of their planes already so didn't need to try the downloads, but I can't help but think they're acting frazzled lately, sending that email by error, paid beta release plane, pay for updates for their older models to support additional guages etc.

They're one of my favorite FSX developers (love the C310R) so I hope they get it together and survive.

That's exactly how I'd describe them lately.
