Hi gents,

I've recently been getting more interested in my DCS sim and was wondering if there are any North Amincan based DCS squadrons.

Google searches and links from the DCS website have yielded very little in the way of NA based squads.

Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. cheers

Hello Hoogs,

What are you interested in flying?

We're a US based squadron currently flying A-10C, Su25T and F-15C but we'll be switching to the F/A-18C model when it comes out or the F/A-18E if Cortex ends up releasing it. We will become a full fledged CVW at that point with carrier operations working with ground attack units. So if you're interested in flying off and on the boat then we'd be a good group work with.

We haven't really been promoting the squad that much only because we've been waiting for the 18. Once it becomes available we'll be gearing up our promotion stuff. You're welcome to fly with us if you want to do either of the roles. We have extensive training on the A-10C. We're going to be mostly Navy based so we really don't train on Su25 or F15 and leave that up to the individual. We will be doing a lot of training on the F18 eventually.

We also build our own missions that are tailored for the group so each element has it's own role. We have training on Wednesdays. Our regular mission night is Friday and Saturday is just pot luck. We also will have support for anyone interested in the Ka50 and will be adding the option for people to command the ground units on some missions at some point.

We're mostly Mountain and Western time zones so we start at 7 PM MST (9 EST). You're welcome to hang out with us and see if you'd like to become a member. Please send me a private message and I'll send you back all the details.
