I knew he was a fake even before the camera panned in-front of him when I saw the Officer Branch Insignia (Crossed Rifles) on his collar. He's also wearing medals with ribbons, his combat badge is in the wrong spot, he has a Philippines Campaign Ribbon from WWII, every single ribbon is out of order and he has SGM rank pinned to his headgear (supposed to be a unit crest). Oh, and his Beret looks like a #%&*$# abortion.

How many people in the general public would have been able to point out his bogus uniform? Not many I think.

I know he specialises in SEALS but I'd bet Don Shipley would love 5 minutes with this guy

I've busted a few fakers in the past. In fact, one investigation on a SEAL faker I outed went viral. For something like this, I'd need a full name in order to file a FoIA request.

As said, so much wrong with how he is wearing his uniform where do you start ? For me it was the mix of Officer and Enlisted insignia. Crossed Rifles (Infantry Officer) on his lapel and Enlisted stripes on his sleeves. Dead wrong. It is all fake from there on.

There is a tendency to attack the authorities who are imposing the same standards we all expect. Look at how the Swiss were being labeled after detaining a certain movie director over truly serious accusations.

For me...I had slight doubts for years before. But one day he tried to call me out, thinking I was one of these pretenders. Yea, that didn't work...there are people here who know me personally, who know my record, mutual buddies from the Canadian Army, and I never claimed anything I wasn't. But his rather vicious attack on me became a red flag...possibly an example of him projecting.
