I have been playing DCS World lately and really getting into it. I only have the A-10C package.

I want Flaming Cliffs 3 as well (I have a copy of LOMAC).

If I get FC3, are the individual packages superfluous, (A-10A, F-15C, Su-25) Or would it be best to pick them up too, to have a "complete package"?

From what I understand, the individual packages exist for those who wish to plug them into DCS World without owning a copy of LOMAC. Is that correct? I have been looking for info on this... maybe I haven't been looking very hard.

I'm pretty sure the LOMAC requirement was dropped a few months ago. Assuming it has been, then FC3 is undoubtably the way to go if you plan on buying all of the aircraft. It includes all of the features of the individual ones, but is cheaper than buying them individually.


If you only want one or two of the aircraft, then go the individual route.

I had the same question when the F-15C flight model update came out. Getting FC3 eliminates the need to purchase the included aircraft separately, you get the full version of them (A-10a, Mig-29, SU-27/33, SU-25) in FC3.
