After a decade of searching I found the rarest of the rare. An unopened copy of Longbow 2! I figured maybe the guy was full of it and just used a vacuum sealer to bs that is was a new copy, but I figured it was worth the $60. Worse case scenario I get another backup copy of the game. It was worth the risk. But when I got it I'm pretty sure it legit.

Now I'm scared to open it to confirm its unopened haha

Those boxes. They don't make 'em like that anymore! Congrats on your find... I'm sure it's legit but the UK version (which I have) didn't have the CD jewel case sitting in an inner cardboard box like that... so I don't know for sure.

It has a CompUSA price tag, and I know thats American. Think they went out of business bout the same time Egghead Software did about 10 years ago. Not to mention, the guy that sold it has a 14 day return period on it so I doubt he would BS that it was new then give a return option. Regardless, like I said, worst care scenario its a 3rd backup copy JUST IN CASE haha.

I bought the same version at Sam's Club years back.

Wish they would make a new version. Can you even imagine how cool Longbow would look on todays systems.

Yea I took a ton of heat from the wife. "You bought ANOTHER copy of LB2???" I'm hording them. Think I have three backups. Loved the game so much I'm always paranoid at some point you just won't be able to find one and I will never be able to play again haha.

Have you ever seen or owned the official strategy guide for LB2, Jave? That is a must for any die-hard LB2 fan, and is probably rarer than an unopened copy of LB2!

I have Janes LB2 with the offical strategy guide!!

I also have Janes F15 with official strategy guide.

Just to to top it off, I also have 2 Falcon 4 Binder editions (1 still shrink wrapped) and 2 big box editions (both vatrying slighty). I also have the strategy guide for Falcon 4 too!

Shame they don't do sims in big boxes today like they used to.

Big box editions are collectors items.
