same here... with default, I can't fly at all... very unlike IL2 where I didn't change any settings on my x52. keyboard is responsive in pitch and roll, but not joystick. buttons mapped ok tho.

Spinnetti,

If anyone has the X-55 profille already done (X-55, like CloD have few users). wink

First is need know that is not possible create a generic joystick profile for all CloD planes.

For example: The keys need to select magnetos on Spitfire will be different to those set for Bf 109,
because one (RL) plane use TWO toggle switch's - on/off - one for each magnetos and another use ONE
sequential switch for both magnetos: 0 - 1, 2, 1+2.

FYI - In CloD the magnetos switch only worth for stop engines, and since this can be done with fuel cock, you can ignore them without prejudice.

Unless you will fly in Fiat G.50, because since this plane dont have fuel cock, you need use magneto switch (sequential type like in Bf 109) to stop the engine, that only work if use key press (the last mouse click position is bugged). smile

To Start CloD Spitfire, the only thing more that you need to do relative do il-2'46 or il-2'Bo$ is turn on fuel cock, all you see in YT "CEM" videos is just for "movies".

Are another cases of exclusive controls like BF 109 Prop Pitch switch that work in inverse say that the others planes, so you can't use the same keys used for other planes.

Based on this particularities you can start make his X-55 profile, pick for example a plane with simple/few commands like Spitfire, and lather adapt this profile - save with exclusive name - for other plane model.

Using specific profiles for each plane in the end you can use the same buttons/HAT on X-55 HOTAS, for select magnetos (if want) in Spit and in 109 because the profile will be sending different key press.

There's is listed what keys is need map to fly the Spitfire in a "full switch environment" - so don't include keys for handle external cameras and etc.

Good luck.

EDIT - I think is more practical use the HOTAS in direct mode, setting buttons/HAT in game Controls, and saving with
custom profiles for each plane with SAVE AS due particularities above. The in game profile have the advantage that can
be loaded and altered "in game" just pressing ESC, even during flights.

In CloD is not need complicated macros (like in DCS series) that make indispensable the use of external profile software.
