I don't know. I didn't read anything to suggest that he gets out of the cage with the sharks. If he was outside the cage then I would agree that he is a Darwin Award candidate, but inside the cage? Obviously there is a degree of risk involved but I think that can be said for most activities that put us outside of our element.
Who are we? We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a humdrum star lost in a galaxy tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people.

If 15M a year were taken...that would be 41k a day! Or 10k+ per day each for Africa, North America, Australia and Asia. Seems a tad high..  Seeing what some great whites have done to cages, it's just a matter of time before someone gets munched out of one. "Nice Doggy"..... NOT! They ARE mindless eating machines..or almost mindless.

In China it's common to catch the sharks, cut off their fins and throw them back in the sea again - where they'll just die on the way to the bottom of the sea. Of course that's not just Great Whites.
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Yeah it sounded like he just meant great whites. AND finning sharks and throwing them back is just horribad.
