ok have got it, but am totally confused about how to play it, not having played the first chapter.

is there a how to video somewhere? i worked out how to do a recon, but have no idea how to move my forces around, engage the enemy etc

it would have been great to have included a tutorial chapter in the campaign...for those who are new to the title.

I've got it and as far as I can tell, the combat is basically guessing the range of the ships based upon two concentric circles...one for half of the gun's range and one for its full range.

It really needs some direction or tutorial.

At least you got into a battle! I can't work out how to get that far!

It's not easy to write something nice about this title when it is so hard to work out how the gameplay functions.
