My first thought was Google came out with a breakfast cereal that helps keep you "regular"

Ten years ago I might have been excited about the local company bringing in T1 or Fiber or some such but these days, with companies creating packages by throttling down the speeds, my wallet couldn't care less.

And hopefully, as Google Fiber expands to other markets (my fingers are crossed for the Triangle), the sudden competition might force the smug and complacent in their monopoly cable companies to actually do something to also upgrade their infrastructure.
