I have been doing about and hour or two each evening in my Alb 11 ( it sure better than the End 111 I had to suffer with for some time to advance up to the better planes ).

All is going very nice with all the settings on 5 except for this " A2S " thing.

My wing men will stay with me, follow orders to attack who I waht them to go after, but after the combat
when I ask them to "rejoin" ( with the R key ) I get this must be in A2S "warning". However, in some cases
my wingmen to join up as I slow down to about 75% throttle and line up with the needed heading.

No big thing, just wondering what it is and how to "work that issue".

This is the best flight sim EVER. And I started something call " 1941 " that put you in charge if the whole fleet
and could jump from plane to plane during that battle. And this was done on a lap top using the 4 arrow keys.

Can not wait for the new up grade with the Zepplan.

My understanding is that they only rejoin when you order them to attack ground targets. When fighting other planes, they attack and rejoin to the best of their ability and morale all on their own. So I think it just means that you had to have given them ground targets previously, otherwise they are not in "attack" mode and therefore cannot "rejoin".

This A2S is for groundattacks to make them rejoin.

Usually after a dogfight everybody is for himself. Some decide to follow the leader again and do what the leader does, others fly home, depending on morale and how spread about everybody is. So when you fly after a dogfight you might look where the leader is. If you don't find him, you are on your own, which means you can continue by yourself or go home. If you find him, then you can join him. If he is continueing the patrol, so can you, if he is going home, you can follow him etc. So actually no rejoin button.

With groundattacks, if you are the leader, they will make so many passes until you make them rejoin A2S or until they run out of ammo or are suffering damage or are under attack etc.

One interesting side note is that there have been times when I was not the flight leader but have had flight members join up and follow me after a fight, which seems to imply they will pick the nearest flight member of higher standing to follow, which is really cool if that is how it works...
