Now imagine these beauties in your back garden! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/d...p-for-sale.html"Two former RAF fighter jets in time capsule condition have been put up for auction with no reserve. A 1976 Hawker Siddeley Harrier GR3 Jump Jet and a 1988 Panavia Tornado F3 will be going under the hammer at Silverstone racetrack in Northamptonshire this weekend. The Harrier, which served during the Cold War, Belize and the Falklands, is described as looking as good as new."

Dibs on the Harrier. Dang, me next!! Got space for a Harrier here as well though the neighbours might get upset about all the noise.

BBC news 'A 1976 Hawker Siddeley Harrier GR3 jump-jet has been bought by a man from Essex for 105,800. A woman pilot who flew this type of aircraft bought the 1988 Panavia Tornado F3 for 36,800'. seems cheap to me, especially the Tornado

The care and feeding of them will make the purchase price seem like chicken feed! But hell, if all they do is sit in the cockpits and make jet noises it would be worth it.
The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events. More dumb stuff at http://www.darts-page.comFrom Laser: "The forum is the place where combat (real time) flight simulator fans come to play turn based strategy combat."
