Thought I'd pick this up since I'm a huge fan of AC6. Turns out I got it some time back in a steam sale and forgot all about it, not even installed. LOL

I had it on PS3 with the Hori Flightick 3 HOTAS. I was ok, but I felt i was constantly doing tight turns. Going to get it for PC and see what it's like.

Last fall it was $5, so who wouldn't pick it up at that price?

Ah yes, now I remember why I hated it on PS3. Pass. I'm still seeing circles even though I stopped playing 10 minutes ago.

Ugh, tried it for an hour and erased it.

Even as a tongue in cheek counterpoint to realistic flight sims, it fails pretty badly.

Sad, I really loved previous ones... frown

So did I. The PS2 ones were great. For those with a Nintendo 3DS/XL, pick up Assault Horizon Legacy. It is a remake of Ace Combat 2 and has nothing to do with the PS3/360/PC Assault Horizon (garbage!). Obviously not as fan compared to a proper console or PC, but still worth playing. I enjoyed it much more than Assault Horizon EE on PC.

But I'd rather play the PS2 versions over that to. Hopefully they will make an Ace Combat 4 style game that is no free to play on PC in the future.

I'd be so happy to get AC6 on pc. The missions were long, you could choose to have the air to air approach or support the ground assault (how I played it). Played through enough times to unlock every plane and skin and the hell difficulty. Playing that game with a limited loadout and 1 hit deaths was really challenging. That and Over G for a more realistic flight/weapons systems made for a LOT of fun flying hours on the 360. The replays were so cinematic, I spent hours watching well run missions over and over. Then Birds of Prey for the WWII side...had some very good times on there.
The early days of the 360 were excellent. Then it went to crap.
