I haven't seen any mention of this show around here, so I figured I'd bring it up.
I think there are 3 episodes so far, but my wife and I have only watched the first on the dvr last night. I thought it was really good, although a lot of familiar elements.
Think "AI" + "The Astronaut's Wife" + "X Files" maybe a little "Solaris" but it's a little early to confirm that. The AI influence is pretty direct, but it's not the main plotline.
Set in the relatively near future, I'm assuming maybe 30-50 years? Lots of household tech around and cool stuff.
A good cast with Halle Berry, Goran Visnjic, Camryn Manheim and Hiroyuki Sanada (he's in everything lately).
Apparently this will tie into some kind of extinction event that can possibly end mankind, but as it is, Halle plays an astronaut just back from a 13 month solo mission on a
space station. During that mission there are 13 hours of data, monitoring etc that are missing. At this point she doesn't really know what happened, only remembering something impossible right before the 13 hours.
And she gets another "impossible" surprise thrown in there.

Hope the next episodes are as good, this has a lot of potential.

Yeah watching this with the wife. Enjoying the unknown aspects of it at the moment as it doesn't seem to be conventional.

The actor that plays the AI son is fantastic. Right amount of creepiness and innocence and the acting makes him totally believable as a robot. I forget that behind the character is an actual kid who probably likes xbox and laughing just like any other kid.

Won't go into too much detail in case of spoilers but I'm surprised the wife likes it. I guess it's the family aspect of it as well as the sci-fi but also tied in with a bigger mystery.
