Should we have spoiler tags for this thread? I'll add them to my post just in case, Mass Effect 3 Shephard's death in Mass Effect 3 (regardless of which ending you get) Operation Flashpoint Viktor's death in OFP: Resistance Metro: Last Light Artyom's death in Metro: Last Light

Yeah, the way you use them the spoiler tags are useless. What do you mean exactly?

Yeah, the way you use them the spoiler tags are useless. What do you mean exactly? You can't tell which game each one is referring to without revealing the whole spoiler

He means he doesn't know if it's ok to click on the tag without doing so.
So if you put Mass Effect 3, OFP:R, and Metro: LL outside the tags he'd know which games he's already played or had no intention of playing and were safe to click on and which he was planning on playing and didn't want spoiled and could avoid.

My saddest death in gaming would have been my favourite keyboard. It was during a BF2 MP session and I got so annoyed I literally smashed it to bits with my raging fist *edit* Ah,my saddest death was during gaming, not in-game.

To use another definition of the word "sad": KOTOR2 Kriea's death. I mean, WTF? I'm glad Lucasarts was disbanded after the colossal screw up that was the rushed release of that game. It forced Obsidian to turn the end of the game into pointless exposition followed by the main villain falling over dead. I guess all that talk drained her life. The Jedi Master

The Jedi Master Yeah that was definitely one of the most infuriating and disappointing things I've ever encountered in any PC game. One more I'd like to add, Mass Effect 3

I'm not sure you guys knows what you're doing. C'mon... you are posting games title in a thread about players death. Now I just assume, eh, that in each game you mentioned the player dies. So i now now that in Metro LL i Die, so too in ME 3 and on and on . Well, I'm not amused. Just go to for a little while. Thanks.

I'm with semmern. John Marston in Red Dead Redemption. In 25 years of gaming though this game came along not that long ago, John Marston is one of my favorite video game characters. The other would be characters who are based off of real people who die in games like the Brothers In Arms series. Okay I'll add one more. Brother Martin from Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion. I got majorly sucked into that game and story and enjoyed interacting with that character voiced by Sean Bean. He's another though that went out in the blazes of glory, sacrificing his life.

Now I just assume, eh, that in each game you mentioned the player dies. So i now now that in Metro LL i Die, so too in ME 3 and on and on . Incorrect. You are assuming that the character YOU PLAY AS in the game dies. The question was open ended and is referring to ANY character that dies in a certain game.
