Mr.Dirt, the real navigation must not even be learnt.
They usually flew by sight. They explored the area around their airfield and noted
the well recognisable landmarks in their maps.
Sometimes they didn't know after a fight, wether they were east or west of the line,
and had to find a landmakr, and use the compass to get back.
In WOFF, the lakes, but also the railroads are good to use.
Also the cities and towns. They are about 5-8 miles off their true positions in the
terrain (which was a CFS3 mistake), but RAF_Louvert has put them in his maps, where
he found them in WOFF - so you can use them also for naviagation.
You see, it's more a "flying after what you see; errors incl." but true navigation.
