Paper model from http://www.johanscherft.com/papercraft.html

A 10 piece lifesize hummingbird from his pattern, and simple flower stand made from 16 rectangles cut from a sheet of A4.

Took an hour or so, for the bird (mostly cutting out the pieces, as the tabs went together really easily when taken one at a time and 'locking' the angle with the notch and the unglued second tabs 'outside' the join).

The flower took around 10 minutes from start to finish.



The bird is around 3" from front of head to tip of tail.

Beautiful model, nice work!

Great pieces on his website, impressive all around. I'm tempted to give one a try someday. Last paper model I built from a kit was a motorcycle from Yamaha:
