I seem to recall that we once had a pretty comprehensive list of good books, both aviation, land and sea related.
Has that been lost while revamping the site, or am I just too thick to find it?

Uh, and more specifically, I'm looking for a book about bush pilots, and I'm pretty sure it was on that list.
I think it's title was something with North in it, but my googlefu is apparently quite weak tonight.
Under the Northern star or something like that maybe..?

Man, I put "Red Phoenix" right up there with "Red Storm Rising" and "Firefox"/"Firefox Down" for great fiction, a must read for any Falcon 4.0 fan! I also have the paperback.

Picked up "Cauldron" just this past Sunday for $1.00 at Goodwill, haven't read it yet.

Wohooo, thanks guys, finally found it in the "other" aviation books? thread David linked, it was "North Star over My Shoulder : A Flying Life" and the thread also reminded me of "Fate is the Hunter"

However the list I was rambling about was somewhere under the old library, found on the front page I think and maybe also in the top menu.
Or, maybe I'm just going bonkers and it never existed in the first place??
