How about some Coors Light? You're going to burn in a very special level of hell for even suggesting that, my friend.

As most said, fry them in an pan together with some onion-rings.
Cook mashed potatoes (make self from potatoes, not that powder stuff. Dont forget muscat and add some parmesan (from a block, not that grated ugh-stuff you`ll find packaged in the supermarket).
Great and fast meal.

homemade moose sausage with a bit of garlic in the mix That sounds really good! I'll have to try it some day if and when I ever visit Canada.
AFAIK the local butcher got his moose sausage recipe from Maine I would think that there should be lots of moose in any of your more northern states that have forests. ( when I said homemade, I meant by the loacl butcher as opposed to some huge factory )

Cooked in beer with onions and sauerkraut, then finished on the grill, just long enough to make the outside slightly crispier. I do something similar, but the other way around. Cook on grill, then I have an aluminum pan with beer, sliced onions (2 large ones for family of 4) and about half a stick of butter. Deep enough to submerge them. Leave them in there for a few minutes, or even longer if cooking other things. They won't shrink up if kept in the bath. Cook just short of done, finish in the pan. Then the onions go on top on the bun. Without the outdoor grill I do the same thing with an indoor grill skillet, with the pan in the oven on around 350.

2 big sausages and mostard, is that a lunch in europe ? Over-generalize much? How many typical lunches are there in Brazil? I'm sure it's quite a high number.

If they're in a bun and they come cooked in beer, in WI that's what I assume is the only legally allowed food aside from fish! I love brats...I hope there's a stand I can hit on the way home Fun fact: Miller Park here in WI is the only baseball stadium that sells more brats than hotdogs during baseball season.

How can you forget about the cheddar cheese? From a culinary perspective, I wouldn't mind living in WI but from a climate perspective, I think I would die.

2 big sausages and mostard, is that a lunch in europe ? Over-generalize much? How many typical lunches are there in Brazil? I'm sure it's quite a high number. The typical lunch in brazil always includes feijao (beans), it may be pure, or from feijoada, a tipical dish you will find in any restaurant or bar here is fries with beef milanese (wich is beef fried with egg white encrusting it) with rice, anything else is complement. and why generalization ? doesnt all germans like sausage ? i've seen americans here during the cup take the famous bacon and egg for breakfast, and have bacon slice acompany their lunch. i was asking as a custom, it COULD be seen as a lunch. Not everyone has full meal. Edit : as a example that just came to mind, is here in Rio at least, we consider a sandwich to be just a snack, i've seen places like sao paulo, and portugal where their sandwich is basically a lunch, and i dont mean bigass sandwichs but the contents of it.

Brats in a pan. Cover with a couple white onions and a couple sliced apples. Douse generously with Worcestershire sauce, cover and cook until done, turning the brats as needed. The onions will carmelize and the apples will cook down and the brats will remain juicy and slightly sweet. I made it this way once, just experimenting, and now the wife and kids always make me cook them now. I guess they like 'em

Hey, Mace where did you get Bratties in UK?? Sainsburys used to do them but not anymore. I'm having withdrawal symptoms.
Grill em or fry em. I just looked myself, found this... German Deli Also found them at Tesco but not too sure about the quality. Maybe a Bratwurst expert can have a look at that link I gave for their opinion. And of course Lidl, aren't they a German company?
