Now my beloved Wing Commander would not be very interested... when I say "Air Show", she thinks "sunburn, blistering heat, crowds, smoke, and different planes flipping about in the air." Needless to say I have a different perspective. I'll have to come up with a compensating activity for that trip if I can finagle it!
We may need to sticky this if we can actually get a meet-up going. I'm pretty sure House Hobbit and at least one other fellow is in that area - and what about you two above?
Best,
Tom

I have been promising myself for years that I would go as it is only a couple hours away. Unfortunately stupid r/l stuff has always gotten in the way. Going has almost now become a "bucket list" type quest for me!
Slick Wilhem, here's what it is all about - don't let the RC planes irritate you, it is about real size planes and airshhows. (I wish we had such places and events here in Germany...)

This is an outstanding yearly event and I am hoping to visit it again this year if RL will allow. Should be quite the show, given the 100 year mark of WWI.

Well there you go, shows what I know. I thought they did it every year, but then I've only ever been there once when it was going on. Thanks for the correction Sir.

I have made my reservations today. The Boss and I will be there both days. If anyone else is going, chime in and maybe we could all meet up. I am really looking forward to this.
