Just saw this on the TV menu and thought I would watch it.

It wasn't what I thought. Wasn't worth the time.

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.

How about intellectual shows like "The Bachelorette"?

What's TV?

Seriously, for me it's TCM (too many Crappy Movies) for Mom or the talking idiots on a morning "news" program to make my coffee taste bad.

Did Brazil win??

90% of the shows I've actually liked over the past few years have been on cable. Fringe is one rare exception.

There is zero value in any of the so-called "reality" (which they are not) shows. Even calling them "unscripted" is a lie.

As for the other shows, the ones with actual actors, it depends what you like and how well it's done.

Don't own a TV. I do DL a few shows. I'm watching Season 2 of Arrow, it's pretty good.

I do enjoy Big Brother on CBS for the social engineering experiments it poses.

Also, the Walking Dead and BSG are big favorites! And Pawn Stars, good show that. I heard Mad Men was excellent too.

Seen who do what? How is that I own TVs and watch hours and hours of TV and films per week on them and know less about these reality shows than people who say they don't have any? confused

This thread calls for a little commentary from Walter Trout:

Simple, I always am a sucker for looking at a good looking woman. Granted, I'm getting pretty serious with a drop dead stunner who has a heart of gold (I pray it isn't dross), so I'm breaking the habit of looking, but still...

Here are photos of the Bachelorette:
