Will this work on its own? If I have another stick I want to use and I just buy a throttle unit will Windows see it ok? I remember it used to be connected to the stick unit when I had one. Also, is anyone wanting to sell a throttle unit? A non pro version would be fine and obviously price would be a factor

Yes, it will work alone, I am using the x-52 with a MSFFB2. The USB plug is on the throttle, and the stick is connected it too, so throttle alone is fine while the stick cannot work without it. Give me 1-2 days, I look around and think it over, if I have the chance, will and financial power to invest into a new HOTAS, so I can pass you my throttle, if no one else willing to bring up one.

Lol, I wouldn't want the Warthog back again, it was too much for non flying sims. I really like the Thrustmaster T16000M (same HALL sensors as in the Warthog) I'm using but the throttle is the only downside and a throttle from a HOTAS would be a nice-to-have option

No probs. I've actually read the T16000M it's pretty awesome.

Here I am again. I simply have no time to use it, I am happy if I can spare some time for racing, so I say goodbye to the throttle, the MSSFFB2 will be enough for the time being. I will check the cost of posting it to UK today or tomorrow, sorry, being busy a bit. There are 2 things you need to be warned: - you cannot switch the modes, since the mode switch is on the joystick, however the Saitek software is working fine an you can configure the buttons any way you want. - There is a knob on the left side which supposed to manage the tension, but I feel minimal difference. Putting all this together I think I will ask for 0(zero) EUR on top of the posting cost, I hope this is acceptable for you. Will come back when I have the figures from the post.

There is no point to keep it on my table, I am more into sim racing now, and 1 joy is enough to cover my flight needs. Maybe later this year I will pick up a HOTAS, maybe not.

Mace, how's it match with your FFB2? I'm in exactly the same boat...want a throttle to match my FFB2.

The throttle and the ffb2 is working fine together perfectly, they are separate devices. You can face issues with old sims, where only one device is being handled, but nothing what a 3rd party virtual joy mapping tool cannot handle. I am just too old to configure them for every game, and obviously there is no ready made config for this solution.

I'm hoping to do the same if I can get ahold of a throttle...

I would give you mine, as I said I am not using it and Mace decided to buy a HOTAS, but posting to Honolulu from Europe sounds a bit expensive...:)

Heh! No worries. I found one on the mainland that I'm going to have shipped to me. Thanks tho! I have been using a 3 lever quadrant, so changing to a throttle is going to be much more better (For ED and SC).

Hi. No, I am not selling it, but if you really need it, I can give it to you, if you pay the shipping cost from Hungary to UK. I think its a bit expensive for just a throttle (last time I checked it was around 36 EUR to the UK). Sorry for the late reply, my life is a bit hectic nowadays.
