Yep, very nice pics, and great panning work on 34! Did you use a momopod or anything? I've still managed to go to a few air shows this year, but a lot fewer than usual (although it was kind of a nice break). I went to El Centro before the sequester hit and saw the Blue Angels, went to Planes of Fame in May and Wings Over Gillespie in June, both of which are private, and Miramar is still going to have their air show this year, even without the Blue Angels. They say it will be the largest Marine Air/Ground Task Force (MAGTF) display ever. Here's an article that talks a little about the economic impact of the loss of air shows: http://money.msn.com/now/post--canceled-air-shows-chill-a-joy-of-summerI have to admit, it might be kind of nice for people like me who prefer the straight military craft over the display teams - smaller crowds and maybe better photo ops.

no monopod, i always hand hold.. Well I decided to take the day off (heard tales last week of Saudi Airforce) and see what i could find from Bluebells - I don't think i got the right point, the shots you guys are posting look much higher up than I was (think i need a guide!) nearly killed myself getting to the point too.. Watched the weather for a while.. #37 #38 First Hawk of the day totally took me napping (think i need a scanner) and the Herc i used too high a shutter so kicked myself on that one.. #39 #40 #41 #42

Cracking snaps - esp. #36 and #40! Thanks for sharing! Those Finnish Hawks staged an occupation of my Facebook page over the last few days - my friend likes hanging round the Mach loop with a camera too! Cheers R P.S. What's the story with the helicopter in #36? It doesn't seem to have a registration.
So the Thunderhawk would come screaming out of the sky at mach ohmygod! and as soon as the struts hit the ground they would rip off. You're trying to apply scientific principles to 40k. Do you not see the problem with that?

I'm in Wales for a week in May (Fishguard area) and am very tempted to pop up and have a look myself.
