Just got back into playing SABOW again after a long absence. I've installed the game and updated and patched it to Core update v5.77 with the Jan.12b5 patch. This procedure was successful. I downloaded from Graviteam the last Core update v5.81 and the August patch. I've tried twice using this latest update and patch and both times the procedure has failed. In fact afterwards the game fails to start and I've uninstalled and re-installed the game twice. I'm using the same procedure for both updates and patches. Anyone know why the first procedure works and not the second one? I'm using Win 7 64-bit. I know I have the correct install path as the first update works. Could the first update be the problem in preventing the second update working? Is it required to use update v5.77 in order to use v5.81 or can I skip the first one entirely?

I'd appreciate any help on this problem. Thanks.

5.77 isn't required, simply install the latest version.

Okay, I'm interested. What tanks are usable by the player? I've been getting into armor in a big way. Hardly even run my flight sims anymore. World of Tanks, War Thunder, Steel Beasts. Are there any mods for it that give you an American crew in that M-60?

The M-60 and the T-62 are playable.
There are mods out there Havant checked them out yet,
I would say its very atmospheric, The inside of the tanks are well modelled
You can see the crew in there positions touches like that make the difference.
