The first in an 11 video series covering a full A-10C mission is up with more to follow. It is the usual full mission recorded from mission planning all the way to debrief with commentary provided throughout. I start out acting in a sort of AFAC role using the Combined Arms module to direct airstrikes. After that, I transition back into a more traditional role, hitting targets as directed by a JTAC. I was really into it so you will hear me consistently underestimate the amount of time I have been in the air. Total cockpit time is three hours not including mission planning and debrief.

I'll post the rest here as they are processed and uploaded over the next week or two. You can also see them from this playlist as they come up:

And, of course, you can go straight to the channel and see everything else that is available right here:

Really enjoyed the videos.
Me and a few guys from my SB VU. Have stared to experiment with the potential of DCS.
I Have CA but tried to use it as a tank sim its not.
But combine all the different modules it really does have potential.

Thanks a lot everybody! Numbers 3 and 4 are now up.

Marko & bogusheadbox, I didn't really explore the ground war at all until very, very late in this mission so I hate to get your hopes up. smile Even then, I was too exhausted to make a real effort of it. There is a lot of potential here and I think if I put more time into it the ground war would be a lot of fun but, like you said, it is no tank sim.

The only other time I tinkered with it was right here:

I do a lot more with the units in this one and at least give an idea of what is possible.

Thanks for posting
Your videos gave me a insight to what could be done in DCS.
My self and a few others are in the process of putting a mission together using various modules.
The SU-25 KA-50 CA and possible Mi8. its early days yet, I mite post a AAR if we can make it happen.

Really enjoy the videos Bunyap, fantastic work as always. I really enjoy these walkthrough videos with descriptions of what's happening at all times because you never know when you are going to learn something new!

Whilst watching the videos I wondered if you use Tacview at all? If not I highly recommend it. It's a fantastic AAR tool and I think that you'll really enjoy analysing the mission and learning from mistakes etc.

That is a great idea Tigerwulf! It had been a while since I tried it but I just used it on an F-15 mission and it helped out a lot.

This series is complete and the top post is updated. Thanks again to everybody who subscribed to the channel and is following along with this and everything else. If you are watching these after the fact, I hope you enjoy them.
