Unless it has Changed and it may have ? When I did 2 years of testing it was Different Full Sim mode or FRB or whatever it is now called , Was the Only mode to have Full Physics and Full FM and Full DM.
Not a Huge difference but enough that you could tell , if you were used to il2946 FM.
A Lot of those planes, but Not all (70%) are from Il2-1946.
When we tested and did Side By Side Screen comparisons to see if the IL2 -1946 FMs matched, They only matched in FRB mode. We also discovered a issue with the sensitivity settings affecting the FMs.
If your sensitivity was Not Up ALL the way in the control settings,,,,it Limited the planes Movement , THUS affecting the FM.
Don't know if that was ever fixed either. I can tell you though that it wasn't fixed last Fall before I left WT.
I pretty much left WT when they got rid of the FRB historical events mode.. (Could only fight planes that were Historically matched)
I have heard they brought it back , but it's to little to late and right now I have No desire to play WT anymore.
If they ever get a Real Persistent MMO going with FRB sorties that affect the MMO world,, with Real players on the Ground the Air and the Sea,, then Maybe I will update. Until then I'll play BOS and CLOD TF 4.3.
