A shame considering the newer movie's jedi and sith are incredibly whiney, childish, and all around unlikable characters (IMO). Fighter pilots are the ones slogging day in and out making history  I want a Generation Kill: Star Wars, not Star Wars 7. But they say I'm just crazy. The pigeons at the park disagree but what do we know? Agreed! The jedi/sith crap is dull. Most of us loved the originals due to the battles, ships, guns, Han Solo etc. It was nicer when the Force was scarce.

All centered around the Jedi, galaxy space patrol.
None of them had the cool factor of the Death Star fight, Hoth or Endor. Bigger, but it wasn't cool. Maybe the Clones in ep2, but that was still more about Jedi crap and most people had no idea what the fight was really about the first time they saw it.

Considering how much time they spent talking about the Separatists breaking away from the Republic, if all you got was "Jedi crap" I guess you focused a lot more on the aspects you didn't like.

And did Christopher Lee wear the suit for some of the
sword scenes?

Ah, right. I had somehow misremembered Lee as being the fencing double for those, but I guess he was long past that phase of his career, being too expensive for such work.

He only did half his own scenes for Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith as well. As he put it, at his age his arms still worked fine, but the legs no longer did.
Of course, while he was still relatively hale and fit for those and the LOTR films, in the Hobbit films it's obvious even that is now a chore for him. His scenes consist of him standing or sitting, not even walking anymore. The behind the scenes footage shows him walking briefly and he looks to be having a hard time of it.

I read on IGN that a hydraulic air door on the set didn't work and possibly fractured his ankle. Not good.
