Swing wings that is....

The F-111 is by far my favourite USAF jet. Sorry guys but nothing in the current US inventory comes even close to being as downright sexy as an F-111.

Oh how I'd like to see a proper F-111 sim...

Great shots, particularly the one with full afterburner down low - I think my FSX would have a serious case of the blurries if I tried scooting around in something like that!

F-111F version was pretty much perfect in my opinion. Great shots, underrated aircraft I think. Saw it at Fairford (96 I think?) and it did it's signature fuel dump. Amazing. Every car in the car park had its alarm going on the fast flypast. Only other plane I seen do that is the B-1 and the Mirage 2000(!).

Nice shots! I saw one of these at the Airpower Museum 2 weeks ago on Long Island. This plane is hugh, when you stand next to it!

Thanks for the comments guys. I remember way back in the early 90's I used to see the occasional F-111 flying into or out of Manston when it was still an RAF base.

I'll have a dig around my FSX hangar and see what other swingers I've got

Just Flight recently announced a Tornado made by the same guys that did the Canberra (Yay!), but it means the VC10 has been delayed (Booo!).
