Played it some back in the day, but I was more of a flying guy, nevertheless had some good time with it.

Voted - maybe it will get released on GOG as we saw the F-117 Nighthawk also from Microprose released recently.

I tried to register site kept crashing.
What's gog all about, I assume they do something to bring old games back to life.
Will always consider tank platoon a classic,

They release classic games that have been tweaked to run on modern machines and O/S's.

They are cheap and DRM free. I can't really think of a negative tbh.

Yep. That's something good. Unlike Steam that released old glories without much of support (Commandos and Fallout come to mind), GOG wrap these gems in a DOSBOX shell, tweaked for best result and they even have a full team of skilled individuals that, in case of trouble follow you step by step and fix your issues (within the game... duck).

In case the game still is unplayable there's a 30 days warranty of full money reimbursement.

They're pretty frakking awesome.

Not to mention the very active and professional forums. Every user seems very interested in problem solving and game improvement. Countless times I've found in the game related subforum mods and tweaks.

I really hope they'll manage to keep on going on and on.
