I'm absolutely impressed by the art direction.
Despite a deep "Bladerunner" influence from the ads, this work still comes off as fresh and engaging. I just can't wait for more content to be added.

I checked my online stats and I've committed one crime, attempted murder! Not sure how this happened, bad parking?

They have done well with this game, surprisingly well.

I can see myself definitely picking this up when its released.

I got one for attacking an AI ship with a bounty on its head during combat involving at least 20 ships. I think it's either occasionally buggy or really, really strict about what you can do. Regardless, when you get a minor bounty just jump to a different system, land at a station, and pay to get it cleared.

Oh, another tip: unless you're absolutely, horribly terrible at combat trading doesn't pay to waste time on. Being cautious, I figured I'd trade until I could afford a bigger ship for combat. Turns out (on top of the tiny little 4 unit storage bay of the Sidewinder) that the meager profits you can make from trading are easily outclassed almost instantly by shooting a couple easy to find AI with bounties.

Trade with the Cobra or Lakon, fight with the Sidewinder and Eagle (not that the Cobra is a slouch in a fight, it just has a massive cargo bay).

I had my first combat encounter last night on multiplayer. Bryant caught me twice as I wondered about the system, the second time he had a friend with him

I assume Bryant is a player, not AI

It was kinda funny this 'Bryant' fellow would say things like 'You will fear me' and I'm thinking Bryant, you're an idiot. But he had two lasers lol.

I was chased for a third time, I assume it was Bryant and I just kept on going. It was a bit frustrating, as it was like running into the neighborhood bully. I almost told the guy I would be coming back with my SimHQ buddies, so he better watch out! But I don't know how to use the comms. lol

I have yet to trade to be honest do not know how to go about this.

He's AI. There are no comms yet and anyone without Cmmdr in front of their names is AI. Also, if a symbol on the radar is filled in they are AI and if hollow they're real players.
