I've been flying sims since Red baron and probably before that, and just started using Warthunder on my PS4. But flying with a console gaming pad, at least for me is not easy. Plus everything is so small, its like trying to shoot mosquitos with a cannon.
Is there smething to turning the sensitivity down to making it easier? That and having ailerons on the same stick as the throttle, well lets put it this way, I'm getting real good at hammerhead stalls !
After a few nights I finally maged to shoot down a peashooter.
Tried a campaign and trying to shoot down 4 or 5 flights of JU-88's or Stuka's sounds like fun, but I wonder looking around wondering why the rest of the RAF went on holiday.

If you're using the typical 2 stick controller try putting aileron/elevator on the same stick like a real plane and rudder on the other stick. R/C transmitters usually put Rud/throttle on the left and ail/elev on the right.
I don't know about the console version but the PC version has sensitivity settings in the options.

Windows 10 Pro
Gigabyte 970A DS3P FX
AMD FX6300 Vishera 3.5 Ghz
ASUS STRIX GeForce GTX 970 Overclocked 4 GB DDR5
16Gb Patriot Viper 3 RAM DDR3 1866Mhz
Onikuma Gaming Headset (has annoying blue lights I don't use)

I gave up trying to fly on console flight games. I just can't do it good, I miss my stick and then go play on pc.

I think I'm just gonna play tanks on my ps4.

If you have a PC Flight stick, try plugging it in.
Sony has always let gaijin have support for a LOT of PC flight Sticks/Hotus.
Evey other gaijin flight game on playstation has had support for a slew of sticks.
