Hi Guys,

Apologies if this isn't quite the right place to ask this but it is to do with the A-10c.
Iv'e got the A-10C sim and was wanting to know if I could / should install it straight into the root of Drive C ? I ask this because I'm not sure how my laptop will work if it has a load of other files on top of my OS 'Win 7. and I have read that to get the best out of MODMAN the game should be loaded into the root drive,
I only have drive C,
I have LOMAC and it's patched but it's stored in C:\ program\ files etc etc and I see that the mods I've downloaded don't appear to have worked.

Can anyone help me out here please.

Much appreciated

Shane

My very brief reading on this suggests that modman must be installed in the rot of C but the games don't have to be. That said, the games to be modded should not (must not?) be installed in Program Files due to the the restrictions Windows imposes.

Windows does some funny things with folders under program files so I try to install to other folders such as C:\Games. Can't advise on MODMAN myself though.
