Hi, does anyone know why CLOD would suddenly stop recognising the number 6 switch (little finger) on an X52 joystick. The computer says it's still working but Clod refuses to see it?

I think there is 2 modes in SST software: one with the pinkie switch as a simple key, another with it as a "shift" (inside SST). Program it to be a key (like "Alt Gr"), then use it as a modifier key inside CloD.

If you have problems with x52 when flying (like some keys stop working), disable "anthropomorphic controls" in settings, as x52 have crap pots on the rotaries, so it will keep jumping 1% up and down - anthropomorphic controls "simulates" the work in the controls, with only 2 virtual hands, so you can down flaps, trim, change radiator settings all at once.

Hi SacaSoh, ta for the info but I seem unable to do anything with the pinkie control, in the SST programmer it's blue and the only option seems to be latched or not. I've tried the website but found nothing that will help. Also where do I find anthropomorphic controls? Thanks.

Jerryboy... Start the game, from the main menu go to Options, Realism, and uncheck the Anthropomrphic box (3rd of 4th box on the top left) if checked. I don't think this is the cause of your pinkie switch to stop working, but it will stop you from doing more things in the cockpit then you could in real life with two hands.....

Found the anthropomorphic box and it was unchecked anyway. I loaded a profile for Il2 and looked at that and it was fine, the pinkie switch was set for the map. I think I need to reprogramme the pinkie switch but have no idea how.

Jerryboy .... Go to Options, Controls, then fine the action / view / weapon you want to assign to the pinkie switch, highlight it then hit the delete box (bottom left corner) to clear the pre-assigned key-stroke. Then double click on the it and a new assignment box will pop up, assign pinkie switch and save......

Ok scroll thru the key assignments and the axes assignments and make sure the pinkie switch has not been assigned to multiple tasks or that a key and pinkie switch are not assigned the same task... This will at times stop the pinkie switch from working... I think key strokes override switches somehow in CLoD (not for sure)...

When looking at the SST profiler the pinkie switch is coloured blue which I think means it's being used as a shift switch, but I cannot find a way to unshift it (if you get what I mean). According to the MAD Catz website the drop down menu gives you the option to chose which switch to use as a shift switch but none of the keys are checked, including the pinkie. I'll try reinstalling the drivers and software and see what happens.

Just a thought, has anyone got an X52 profile for Clod that I could try. If the pinkie is set for anything I could check to see if it worked.
