I see some people here failed Reading Comprehension 101.
@Raw - Not to be too pedantic but "The Wall" was released in 1979.

Lol. I fondly remember those K Tel collection commercials from the late 70's and 80's.

How can you guys remember what albums you bought back in the 80's? I can't think of any which leads me to believe that a) I didn't buy any or b) I just can't remember.
*edit* I just ran through a list of best 80's albums and I didn't buy any of them so I guess that just wasn't an interesting period for me musically.

Or it can also be albums that you bought at any time but were released in the 80's. I was thinking more along those lines.

From the 90's (when Seattle killed rock) until now I've hardly bought anything. Even then it's now individual songs. From the 60's, 70's and 80's. LOL Back then I spent my hard earned money on four things: #1: my car #2: my car #3: tapes (now all long since dead from heat and age) #4: girlfriend (probably didn't age well themselves either)
