I'm trying to reinstall my ROF Iron Cross edition from disc. It's all fine up until logging in and activating. It says I need to activate licence key but doesn't recognize the key as valid. I've recently rebuilt the system from win XP to Win 7 64bit.

Thanks,

Comp

The RoF Iron Cross is outdated,I'm not sure but I think there are problems if you install it from the disc. However you can download the newest Free to Play version from the RoF site and activate your Iron Cross Edition with your License key. You propably have the game already activated, you can check it if you log into the RoF site. Go to the Profile tab in the upper right section of the screen and look for the "License" tab

If you have the key already activated it's enough to log into the game with your Username and Password that you used when first activated the game.

Yeah, if you've used it before the CD key is irrelevant. Just DL the latest client from the ROF site and login with your email address and password and you're good.

Hmmm the only dl I see is the demo? I doesn't recognize my licence key online either, though it does recognize my email and password.

You can download the Demo, then fully activate it with your user log-in when you request registration I believe.

I did this in November when I changed PC and switched to W7 from XP 32. I always have a copy on an external disk of the whole up to date Rise of Flight folder.
I reinstalled from my ICE DVD, copied the last version over it, logged in as usual and it was done.
It saved me having to download the free version.
